Research output: Other contribution

Abstract

This second album continues the journey bringing new and in some cases unpublished South African viola music into the recorded domain. Including the newly edited “Suite Afrique” for viola and piano, an extensive 4-movement work composed by Jeanne-Zaidel Rudolph. The album also includes Hendrik Hofmeyr’s magical sonata for viola and piano, WH Bell “Arabesque”, Walter Swanson’s “Caprice”. Arthur Feder’s “remembrance on a bridge” and “Amneusis” for violin and viola and “in die stilte van die Karoo” for viola and double bass.
