Abstract

For one vocal performer, fixed media AV, motion-triggered electronics, remote-controlled lighting, vocal processing, and audience interaction
Bagworm draws on the affordances of the bagworm moth's lifecycle to present a folk horror narrative in operatic form.
Designed for DIY experimental settings, the opera was first performed at The Talleyrand, and is now touring small venues, bringing opera to new audiences.
